Agile is pleased to announce the sale of Agile Software to Avaya

We are pleased to announce that Agile NZ has sold its shareholding in Agile Software to Avaya Inc.

Agile Software has been responsible for the creation and development of Contact Center Express (CCE), which up until this time has been used by Avaya under an OEM license. This now gives Avaya 100% ownership and control of the Contact Center Express product. To read more click here

Wholly developed here in New Zealand, Contact Center Express is a Microsoft Windows-based state-of-the-art call centre software suite that enables companies to turn one-dimension call centres into multi-media contact centres.

This stellar application soon became Avaya's flagship contact centre product for the mid-market and for good reason - CCE currently has over 3000 successful deployments in over 84 countries worldwide in contact centres ranging in size from 1-3200 agents.

It is gratifying to see Avaya's ultimate commitment to the Contact Center Express product and it's a testament to the innovation and skill with which the Agile Software team has delivered this product that Avaya has sought ownership – in spite of the tough economic times.

The Kiwi ingenuity shown by the Agile Software team in exporting a successful global product is something we are all very proud of. As part of the deal, the Agile Software team will continue development of CCE here in New Zealand, through version 5.0 and beyond.

The Agile Software team remain very much a part of the Agile Group and as we continue to grow and evolve the Agile integration business, their outstanding skills will help us to deliver new and exciting solutions to our customers both here in New Zealand and internationally.
