Agile Integration delivers world class MSAN solution to Compass Communications

Compass Communications a leading provider of business and consumer communication solutions has entered the LLU market thanks to Agile Integration and advanced MSAN (Multi-Service Access Node) technology from Nokia Siemens Networks.
The hiX5635 MSAN is a next generation all IP platform, it allows Service Providers to deliver any mix of ASDL2+, VDSL2, G.SHDSLbis, Ethernet and POTS. Its integrated SIP gateway facilitates a simple migration from the POTS to the IP world and its high density can support more than a 1,000 end users per device.
Under the terms of the deal, Agile will provide Compass with the Nokia Siemens Networks hiX5635 MSAN together with turnkey deployment and support services.
The Compass initial MSAN deployments are in Auckland, Christchurch and Palmerston North with plans to expand the network demand builds. Using the latest MSAN technology, Compass will not be constrained by the limited range of wholesale offerings. Compass customers will benefit from higher speeds greater reliability and a compelling range of service plans that will suit all network users from residential to business and corporate clients.

In a new initiative, Agile has recently boosted its Network division with the addition of new staff and concluded new Partner agreements with leading vendors including; Juniper Networks, Ceragon Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks.
