Agile NZ wins 2009 Microsoft Partner Award for Agile Software’s Contact Centre Express.
Auckland 28 August 2009. We are very pleased with the recognition given to us by Microsoft for Agile Software’s Contact Centre Express software suite. This caps what has been an outstanding success story for an application developed from scratch by Agile Software that has taken the world’s mid-market contact centre market by storm.
Contact Center Express (CCE) is a Microsoft Windows-based state-of-the-art call centre software suite that enables companies to turn one-dimension call centres into multi-media contact centres. This stellar application soon became Avaya's flagship contact centre product for the mid-market – with CCE currently having over 3000 successful deployments in over 84 countries worldwide in contact centres ranging in size from 1-3200 agents.
Recently we announced that Agile NZ sold its shareholding in Agile Software to Avaya Inc. Up until that time Contact Center Express was used by Avaya under an OEM license. The sale now gives Avaya 100% ownership and control of the Contact Center Express product.
Avaya's ultimate commitment to the Contact Center Express product is a testament to the innovation and skill with which the Agile Software team has delivered a truly world beating product. The ingenuity shown in exporting a globally successful product is something we are all very proud of. As part of the deal, the Agile Software team will continue development of CCE through version 5.0 and beyond.
The Agile Software team has now rebranded as Agile Development Services (www.agile-ds.com), and remain very much a part of the Agile Group. As we continue to grow and evolve the Agile integration business, their outstanding skills will help us to deliver new and exciting solutions to our customers around the world.
